What is Invisalign?

At The Holland Park Dentist, we offer a range of cosmetic dentistry, including treatments for straighter teeth.

Invisalign® or clear braces are removable aligners and a popular choice for straightening the teeth, closing gaps and improving the bite. Invisalign treatment is the best alternative to fixed metal braces that gradually move teeth and will help you transform your smile. Invisalign® uses specially designed clear aligners to align the teeth. The number of aligners you need depends on your treatment plan.

Each aligner is typically worn for 7 days and then replaced with the next aligner. The aligners must be worn full time, for 22 hours a day for optimal results and they should only be removed for eating, brushing, and flossing.

Invisalign treatments consist of several steps including:

Consultation to discuss treatment options and prepare a treatment plan as per the complexity of your case.
Taking photos and impressions and ordering your custom-made set of Invisalign removable aligners.
Fitting the Invisalign aligners and starting to wear them.
Attending regular check-ups with our dentist to monitor your progress.
Completing your treatment and Smile!

How long do the Invisalign treatments take and when to expect to see the results?

Depending on the complexity of your case, you could complete your treatment in as little as 3 months. But, the results can be seen in a matter of weeks.

After calling up around 20-30 dental practices none were able to take me in as a new patient, due to Covid. till I called Smile Style, Sara (the receptionist) was very kind to have a word with the doctor and was seeing on the same day, the Doctor was very gentle since I have sore gums, I couldn’t be any happier! Dr. Aron Balkin and his team are fantastic! i had an issue that i wanted immediate attention. i called in the afternoon and i was given an appointment the following day. i was most impressed with thoroughness in which Dr. Aron checked out the issue. in addition to his own assessment, he contacted 2 specialist who concurred with his assessment. luckily the issue was benign.My wife and i have both use Smile Style. On every occasion, our expectations were exceeded. Super friendly and excellent service!

Aron is an amazing dentist, I suffered from extreme anxiety due to having awful experiences with previous dentists.Aron was patient with me and made me feel relaxed and ALL of my extensive dental work was carried out in a professional way and was virtually painless.He made me feel confident and explained everything he was doing every step of the way. I found Aron and his team some of the most professional I have ever dealt with. I had a cracked tooth so was grateful that Aron's receptionist booked me in at such short notice and that Aron put the matter to rest immediately.
