Designed to sit over the gums, dentures are formed of an acrylic base and a set of prosthetic teeth. They are easy to fit and clean because they can easily be removed. Dentures can be full or partial, meaning they can either replace a full arch of teeth, or just a few missing teeth.
Traditional dentures are held in place using an adhesive, but we’ve found that more and more of our patients are preferring to choose implant retained dentures. These dentures are fixed in place by a titanium implant and can help promote better overall bone health in the mouth and jaw.
If you’d like to know more about any of the denture options we provide here at The Holland Park Dentist, a member of our team would be happy to develop a bespoke care plan with you.
